Refund & Returns Policy

48-hour return window on eligible items. Hand-finished art deserves a careful second look.

At AavishkArt, every creation is handcrafted with utmost care. We strive to deliver high-quality products and customer satisfaction. This policy outlines the conditions under which returns, replacements, and refunds are accepted.

1. General Terms

  • Most products are handmade, customized, or made-to-order and may show minor variations in color, texture, or finish. These natural variations are not considered defects.
  • Returns, exchanges, and refunds are allowed only under specific conditions listed below.

2. Eligibility For Returns & Exchanges

You may request a return or replacement if:

  • The product was delivered in a damaged, defective, or incomplete condition.
  • The wrong product was shipped.

Not eligible for return / exchange:

  • Customized, made-to-order, or personalized products.
  • Items purchased during sale, clearance, or promotional offers.
  • Products damaged due to mishandling, improper use, exposure to moisture/heat, or natural wear and tear.
  • Products without original packaging or tampered labels.

Tip: Providing clear photos/videos of the received product (preferably during unboxing) helps us process claims faster.

3. Time Frame For Requests

  • All return/replacement requests must be raised within 48 hours of delivery.
  • Requests beyond this period will not be eligible.

4. Return & Verification Process

  1. Contact us at support@aavishkart.com or +91-9326344403 with your Order ID and photos/videos showing the issue.
  2. Our team will review the request within 2–3 business days.
  3. If approved, we will provide instructions for return shipping or arrange pickup (where serviceable).
  4. Returned items will undergo inspection to verify eligibility.

5. Refunds

  • Refunds are processed only after inspection and approval of returned items.
  • Refunds will be issued within 7–10 business days of approval to the original payment method.
  • Store credit option may be offered for faster resolution.

6. Replacements

  • Subject to availability, replacements will be offered for eligible cases.
  • For customized items, we will attempt to remake the product if possible.
  • If replacement is not feasible, a refund or store credit will be provided.

7. Return Shipping & Costs

  • If the return is due to AavishkArt’s error (wrong/damaged/defective product), return shipping charges will be borne by us.
  • If the return is due to other reasons (refusal, incorrect address, customer preference), the customer must bear return shipping costs.

8. Order Cancellations

  • Orders may be cancelled within 12 hours of placement for a full refund.
  • Once production or shipping begins, cancellations are not possible.
  • Customized and made-to-order items cannot be cancelled after confirmation.

9. Non-Delivery & Failed Delivery

  • If a package is returned due to incorrect address, refusal to accept, or repeated failed delivery attempts, refund will be made after deducting shipping costs.
  • Re-delivery may be arranged at additional shipping cost.

10. International Orders (If Applicable)

  • Returns/refunds for international shipments are accepted only if the product arrives damaged or defective.
  • Customs duties, taxes, and clearance charges are the customer’s responsibility and non-refundable.

11. Exceptions

  • Gift cards, workshop/event bookings, and digital downloads are non-refundable.
  • In cases of dispute, AavishkArt reserves the right to make the final decision.

12. Abuse Of Policy

We reserve the right to refuse service, cancel orders, or deny refunds/returns if we believe the policy is being misused through excessive claims, fraudulent requests, or intentional damage.

13. Force Majeure

AavishkArt will not be liable for delays or failure to perform obligations due to events beyond our reasonable control (including natural disasters, government restrictions, courier disruptions, strikes, or pandemics).

14. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

This policy shall be governed by and interpreted under the laws of India. All disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra.
